Authenticated database disclosure via injectable medicine identifier
Published Aug 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Clinic's Patient Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via the id parameter. The update_medicine.php handler passes id into an SQL query such that a UNION SELECT expression runs and returns database-derived output. A valid management session is required; the published proof demonstrates database-name disclosure rather than broader data modification.
