Script execution via reflected index.php parameters
Published Nov 22, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Reflected XSS in FusionDirectory 1.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser through crafted index.php URLs. The index.php endpoint incorporates attacker-controlled message and plug query values into its response without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL, after which the script runs within that victim's FusionDirectory browser context.
