Administrator-level stored XSS via unsanitized setting title
Published Nov 21, 2022 · Updated Apr 29, 2025
Stored XSS in Spacer before 3.0.7 allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to execute script through spacer settings. The Space Title field under Settings > Spacer > Add Spacers accepts a crafted value without sufficient sanitization or output escaping and stores it for later rendering. Administrator access is required, and script execution occurs when a user loads the affected administrative content, allowing access to data and actions available in that user's browser session.
