Account takeover via login username SQL injection
Published Jul 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Orange Station 1.0 allows remote attackers to control accounts through a crafted username in the login request. The login handler uses the POST username value in a MySQL query without neutralizing injected operators, enabling boolean- and time-based blind queries. The request requires no authentication or user interaction; successful injection grants account control and access to stored application data.
