Stored XSS via executable sHeader markup
Published Nov 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 25, 2025
Stored XSS in the sHeader custom-header setting in ChurchCRM 4.4.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in users' browsers. The General Settings page stores administrator-supplied HTML from sHeader and renders it at the top of application pages without restricting executable markup. Administrative settings access and a later page view are required; script runs in the viewer's ChurchCRM origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
