Stored procedure execution via getChartData authorization bypass
Published Aug 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Authorization bypass in Blue Prism Enterprise 6.0 through 7.01 allows remote authenticated users to execute MSSQL stored procedures. The getChartData administrative method permits a supplied procedure name to reach the Application Server after its access controls are circumvented. Exploitation requires a Blue Prism account and network access to a misconfigured, exposed Application Server; a low-privilege account can alter server settings and invoke database procedures.
