Credential disclosure via spoofed machine identity
Published Aug 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Blue Prism Enterprise 6.0 through 7.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to bypass an administrative access control. The Application server accepts a reverse-engineered client that spoofs a known machine and requests encrypted credentials through the restricted function. Exploitation requires an exposed Application server and credentials configured for machine or runtime-resource-group access; retrieved credentials can then be decrypted.
