CVE-2022-36101Network attack vector

Customer credential disclosure via unfiltered detail response

Published Sep 12, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Information disclosure in Shopware before 5.7.15 allows attackers to obtain password hashes and session IDs from customer-detail responses. The Backend Customer controller's getCustomer method returned hashPassword and sessionId without removing them from the getDetail response. The response is generated when a backend administrator opens a customer detail view; public sources do not identify how an attacker gains access to it.
