CVE-2022-36075Network attack vector

Filename disclosure via excluded shared-storage wrapper

Published Sep 15, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Information disclosure in Nextcloud Files Access Control allows remote authenticated users to view restricted first-level filenames in shared folders. The storage setup excluded shared storage from the app's access-control wrapper, so folder-listing operations bypassed configured rules for received shares. The user must receive a folder share and have limited access; exposure is confined to first-level names, with no reported file-content access.
