Stack-based buffer overflow in Eclipse ThreadX USBX before 6.1.12 allows attackers to execute code or crash the host via a crafted USB descriptor. The _ux_host_class_cdc_ecm_mac_address_get function subtracts from a zero- or one-byte MAC string-descriptor length, underflows the calculated string length, and then overflows the cdc_ecm node-ID array. The target must enable the USB CDC ECM host class and parse a device-supplied MAC address descriptor; successful corruption can redirect execution or terminate the host.
