Memory disclosure via unchecked IPv6 header offset

Out-of-bounds read in Contiki-NG before 4.8 allows remote authenticated users to read memory through a crafted IPv6 extension header. The uipbuf_get_next_header function casts an unchecked packet-buffer offset to a uip_ext_hdr pointer and reads the structure even when it extends past the packet end. Network access with low privileges is required; the read can disclose memory beyond the received packet without a reported availability impact.
