Integer overflow in Redis before 6.0.17, 6.2 through 6.2.8, and 7.0 through 7.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to crash the server. In setrangeCommand, Redis adds the supplied offset to the value length before validating the total, while sortCommandGeneric adds unbounded LIMIT values; either calculation can overflow and drive an impossible allocation. Access to an authenticated Redis command connection is required, and successful exploitation aborts the server with an out-of-memory panic without reported data disclosure or modification.
