Server-side request forgery in Node.js Undici 5.8.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to reach unintended network destinations. The request URL parser supplies a user-controlled path or pathname to the URL constructor as a base-relative reference, allowing an absolute value to replace the configured origin. Exposure requires a consuming application to pass remote input into undici.request; successful exploitation sends requests to hosts reachable from that application's network context.
