Administrator session theft via unescaped registration metadata
Published Sep 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in GLPI 9.5.0 through 10.0.2 allows remote attackers to steal an administrator session cookie. GLPINetwork::showForConfig() writes the registration API's validation message, subscription title, and owner name into HTML without encoding special characters. Exploitation requires an administrator to configure an attacker-created registration key and open its configuration page, where injected script runs in the administrator's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
