Service interruption via unchecked neighbor solicitation options

Out-of-bounds read in IPv6 neighbor discovery in Contiki-NG before 4.8 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted solicitations. The parser in os/net/ipv6/uip-nd6.c reads the two-byte option header and Source Link-Layer Address Option from uip_buf without first verifying that each read remains within the packet buffer. IPv6 must be enabled and the device must process the malicious neighbor solicitation; published assessments report availability impact without data disclosure or modification.
