Information disclosure via crafted IFC parsing
Published Jul 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Bentley MicroStation before 10.17.0.x allows local users to read process-context information via crafted IFC files. The IFC parser reads beyond a valid buffer when processing attacker-crafted data. Exploitation requires the victim to open the file, and the reported consequence is information disclosure without code execution or service interruption.
