Stored XSS via unneutralized IP address
Published Nov 2, 2022 · Updated Oct 25, 2024
Stored XSS in the Fortinet FortiADC 7.1.0 management interface allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted IP address. The external-resource page stores the IP Address field without neutralizing script content before rendering it in the management interface. An authenticated user must configure the value, and a management-interface user must later view the stored content for the script to run in that user's browser.
