OS command injection in Fortinet FortiTester 7.1.0, 7.0, 4.0.0 through 4.2.0, and 2.3.0 through 3.9.1 allows attackers to run shell commands. Fortinet reports multiple failures to neutralize special elements before attacker-controlled input reaches the underlying shell, but does not identify the affected commands or parameters. Authenticated product access is required; successful exploitation permits arbitrary commands with the appliance shell's privileges.
