Script execution via unescaped group identifier
Published Nov 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Reflected XSS in ProfileGrid before 5.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in an administrator's browser via the id parameter. The pm_add_group administration page returns the id query value in HTML without sanitizing or escaping it. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to follow a crafted link, after which the injected script runs with that browser session's privileges.
