Microsoft has not disclosed the affected request handler, input field, or operation that generates executable code from attacker-controlled data. Exploitation requires administrative credentials for an Azure Site Recovery-protected VM in an on-premises VMware or physical-to-Azure deployment and affects replication capabilities rather than protected workloads.
