Code injection in Microsoft Azure Site Recovery 9.0 through 9.49 allows remote authenticated users to execute code on recovery appliances. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected request handler, input field, or operation that generates executable code from attacker-controlled data. Exploitation requires administrative credentials for an Azure Site Recovery-protected VM in an on-premises VMware or physical-to-Azure deployment and affects replication capabilities rather than protected workloads.
