Published Sep 9, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Hans Matzen wp-forecast 7.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the admin dialog. Published sources attribute the flaw to insufficient sanitization and output escaping of an admin-dialog value but do not disclose the parameter or output sink. Administrator access is required, and the stored script runs when another user opens an affected page, enabling actions and data access in that user's browser context.
