Heap-based buffer overflow in Adobe Bridge 12.0.2 and earlier and 11.1.3 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious SGI file. The SGI file parser writes beyond a heap allocation while processing crafted input; Adobe has not disclosed the responsible field or copy operation. Opening the file is required, and successful exploitation runs code with the current user’s privileges on Windows or macOS.
