Unauthenticated code execution via crafted network packet
Published Oct 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Adobe ColdFusion 2018 Update 14 and earlier and 2021 Update 4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code. A crafted network packet reaches an undisclosed server component, where its contents overflow a stack-based buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs code in the ColdFusion service user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
