Denial of service in Nautilus T616 and T618 treadmills before 2022-06-09 allows physically proximate attackers to cause a fall. The control software fails to preserve a stopped state when power is connected to a 120V circuit, allowing the walking belt to start without user input. Physical access to the treadmill and power cord is required; an inopportune self-start can knock a user off, although 21 reported events caused no injuries.
