CVE-2022-35645Network attack vector

Authenticated credential disclosure via stored Web UI script

Published Mar 2, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025

Stored XSS in affected IBM Maximo releases allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary JavaScript in the Web UI. The Web UI stores user-supplied content and later renders it without sufficient neutralization, but IBM has not disclosed the affected field, page, or code path. Low-privilege authenticated access is required; affected releases span Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.1 through 7.6.1.3 and Maximo Application Suite 8.8 and 8.9, and code execution in a trusted session permits credential disclosure.
