An undisclosed flaw in IBM PowerVM Virtual I/O Server 3.1 allows remote attackers to alter configuration or interrupt service. IBM identifies the affected locus only as the devices.vtdev.scsi.rte virtual SCSI fileset and has not disclosed the untrusted input or faulty operation. No credentials or user interaction are required; IBM's prose names configuration tampering, while its scoring instead rates information exposure.
