Heap overflow in Nordic nRF5 SDK for Mesh 5.0 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via crafted Bluetooth Mesh packets. The segmented-message reassembly path associates control and access packets that share a SeqAuth value, allowing larger access data to overrun a control-packet heap allocation. Exploitation requires access to the same Bluetooth Mesh network; successful corruption can disclose memory, alter data, or interrupt the device.
