Published Aug 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Heap-buffer overflow in OTFCC 0.10.4 allows remote attackers to crash otfccdump by inducing a user to process a crafted font file. The public record identifies only the release-x64/otfccdump offset 0x6b544e; it does not disclose the parser function or faulty memory operation. Exploitation requires user interaction with an attacker-supplied OpenType font and interrupts otfccdump without reported data disclosure or modification.
