URL disclosure via crafted redirect response
Published Jul 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
URL disclosure in PortSwigger Burp Suite before 2022.6 allows remote attackers to expose URLs through a crafted HTTP response. Redirect handling in Repeater and Intruder treats the crafted response as a redirect instead of ordinary response content, causing URL disclosure. Exploitation requires a Burp user to view the response in Repeater or Intruder, and the published impact is limited to URL disclosure.
