Sensitive-data disclosure via malformed token regeneration request
Published Jul 25, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Information exposure in IBM Security Verify Information Queue 10.0.2 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data via a malformed request. The external API token-regeneration endpoint returns sensitive data in its error message instead of limiting the response to failure details. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented impact is confidentiality loss that can support further attacks.
