Denial of service in F5 BIG-IP 16.1.x before 16.1.3.1 and 17.0.x before 17.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to terminate connections. On an HTTP MRF virtual server configured with source-port preserve-strict, undisclosed traffic makes the TMM generate a core file instead of retaining the connection. The non-default setting gates exposure, and triggering traffic interrupts processing by terminating the connection and producing a diagnostic core file.
