Authenticated web-server crash via missing file upload
Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Robustel R1510 3.1.16 and 3.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to crash its web server. A POST to /action/import_file/ without an uploaded file leaves webs->files at -1; hashFirst continues after a nonfatal bounds assertion and indexes the hash-table array with that value. Administrative web-interface access is required, and successful exploitation terminates only the web-server process, interrupting management service.
