Web-server crash via invalid hash-table index
Published Oct 25, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Robustel R1510 3.1.16 and 3.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to crash its web server via a POST request. The /action/import_xml_file/ handler calls GoAhead hashFirst with a -1 files-table identifier when a POST request omits file data, and the disabled range assertion permits an invalid array access. Administrative access is required; repeated requests can terminate the web-server process, interrupting management service without reported data disclosure or modification.
