CVE-2022-35245Network attack vector

Unauthenticated service interruption via TMM termination

Published Aug 4, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Denial of service in F5 BIG-IP APM affected releases allows remote attackers to terminate TMM via undisclosed traffic. F5 identifies the failing locus as TMM processing traffic for a virtual server with a per-session APM access policy, but has not disclosed the traffic form or null-pointer operation. The virtual server must have an APM access policy configured; successful requests crash TMM and interrupt application traffic, without reported data disclosure or modification.
