CVE-2022-35229Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via reflected discovery parameters

Published Jul 6, 2022 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Reflected XSS in affected Zabbix Frontend releases allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. The discoveryconf.php page places crafted link parameters into its rendered discovery-rule create or update response without adequate neutralization. Exploitation requires victim interaction and the victim's periodically changing CSRF token; affected lines span 4.0.0 through 4.0.42, 5.0.0 through 5.0.24, 6.0.0 through 6.0.4, and 6.2alpha1 through 6.2beta3.
