Authenticated reflected XSS via unencoded request data
Published Oct 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in SAP Data Services Management Console 4.2 and 4.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted requests. Affected pages copy attacker-controlled request data into the immediate HTTP response without adequate output encoding; SAP does not identify the pages or parameters. A logged-in attacker must induce another user's browser to process the crafted response, enabling limited reading or modification of that user's browser-session data.
