CVE-2022-35219

Service crash via unchecked packet key length

Published Aug 2, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in NHI Health Insurance Web Service Component allows remote authenticated users to crash the service via a LAN packet. Insufficient length validation of the network packet key parameter permits an oversized value to overrun the component's stack buffer. Reachability requires LAN access and general user privileges; successful exploitation terminates the service until it is restarted.
