SAML signing-key disclosure via exposed weak keystore
Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Information disclosure in Sitevision 10.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain SAML Authn-request signing private keys via WebDAV. A non-default WebDAV configuration exposes the saml-keystore file, whose eight-character lowercase-alphanumeric password can be cracked offline. Exploitation requires that exposure; a stolen key redirects a victim's SAML assertion only when the identity provider trusts signed request URLs over metadata.
