Unauthenticated service interruption via oversized login fields

Buffer overflow in Login.asp in D-Link DSL-3782 firmware 1.01 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through a login request. The login handler copies a 255-character alphanumeric User or Pwd value without confirming that it fits the destination buffer. No authentication or user interaction is required; public records do not distinguish whether the interruption results from a crash, hang, or reboot.
