Unauthorized API actions via missing authentication
Published Oct 13, 2022 · Updated May 15, 2025
Missing authentication in Boodskap IoT Platform 4.4.9-02 allows remote attackers to submit unauthorized API requests. The platform's API request handling processes calls without a valid cookie or API key, so the normal identity check is absent. The disclosure demonstrates profile updates and administrator-role assignment, but the CVSS vector inconsistently specifies low privileges and the sources do not reconcile that gate.
