Browser script execution via undisclosed stored-content handling
Published Aug 1, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in PyroCMS 3.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser. Published records do not identify the affected input fields, rendering paths, or missing output-encoding operation. Exploitation requires a user to view attacker-supplied stored content, enabling browser-context data access or actions under that user's session.
