Stored XSS via unsanitized medicine packing field
Published Aug 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Clinic's Patient Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via the Packing field. update_medicine_details.php stores the packing parameter and later emits it into Medicine Details output without neutralizing script markup. Backend administrator access is required to plant the payload; scripts then run in the application origin when medicine details are viewed.
