Unauthenticated database access via search parameter injection
Published Aug 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in IceWarp WebClient DC2 13.0.2.9 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through a crafted search parameter. The /webmail/server/webmail.php handler fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the search value before using it in a database query. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful injection enables database reads or writes and service interruption.
