Database query manipulation via unneutralized id parameter

Published Oct 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

SQL injection in SourceCodester Sanitization Management System allows remote attackers to alter database queries through the id parameter. The /php-sms/?p=services/view_service handler incorporates the attacker-controlled id value into an SQL command without neutralizing SQL syntax. The public proof of concept demonstrates query manipulation, while published assessments disagree on whether authentication is required.
