Application crash via malformed JPEG file seek

A segmentation fault in JPEGDEC 1.2.7 allows local users to crash a consuming application by opening a crafted JPEG file. The public crash trace shows JPEGParseInfo calling seekFile, which invokes fseek and faults while reading an invalid address. Exploitation requires a user or application to process the supplied image; the demonstrated consequence is process termination, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
