Account takeover via unneutralized recovery email
Published Jul 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Fruits Bazar 1.0 allows remote attackers to access account data via crafted password-recovery requests. The user_password_recover.php endpoint places the recover_email POST value into a MySQL query without neutralizing quote and operator syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; boolean-, error-, and time-based payloads expose database contents and support account takeover.
