Cross-site scripting via unsanitized admin JavaScript
Published Jul 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Inout Blockchain AltExchanger 1.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via /admin/js. The /admin/js administration JavaScript renders attacker-controlled input without proper sanitization, enabling DOM-based script execution in a victim browser. Exploitation requires a low-privilege account and a victim to load the affected page; scripts can read or alter data available to that browser session.
