Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Feehi CMS 2.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code through Advertising Management. The module accepts an image renamed with a PHP suffix and stores it where the web server executes the uploaded file instead of rejecting the dangerous type. Access to the administrative advertising interface is required, and successful exploitation grants code execution in the CMS server context.
