Cross-user script execution via unsanitized location field
Published Jul 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in the News Feed module of OpenTeknik OSSN 6.3 LTS allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in viewers' browsers. The wall-post action stores the location field without neutralizing HTML event-handler payloads and renders the stored value as active content. A registered account is required to create the post, and another user's browser must render the stored entry for cross-user impact.
