Unauthenticated SQL injection via category identifier
Published Aug 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Pharmacy Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through editcategory.php. The editcategory.php handler incorporates the id parameter into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, so crafted input changes the query's structure. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation permits database access within the application's database-account privileges.
